Geography and Dimensions
Lake Geneva is the largest lake in the Alps and one of the largest in Western Europe. It has a crescent shape and is divided into three parts: Haut Lac (Upper Lake), Grand Lac (Large Lake), and Petit Lac (Small Lake). The lake is mainly fed by the Rhône River, which flows into it in the east and out of it in Geneva in the west. 60% of its area is in Switzerland, and 40% is in France.
