How to Get Around

•Access: Stoos is reached by funicular from Schwyz or by cable car from Morschach.

•With TripTransfer: Direct transfer to the funicular station in Schwyz.

Parking:

•There is a large paid car park at the funicular station.

Opening Hours

•Funicular: Operates year-round, with short maintenance breaks. Usually from 07:00 to 19:00/21:00.

Visitor Tips

1.Check the weather. The weather in the mountains can change quickly.

2.Buy a day pass. If you plan to use the lifts to Fronalpstock or Klingenstock, the day pass is the best value.

3.Go on a weekday. It can be very busy on weekends.

4.Wear good shoes. Even if you don't plan a long hike, you will need to walk.

5.Check the ridge hike status. In summer, the lift to Klingenstock only operates in good conditions, check in advance.
