Interlaken Crash Landing on You Film Locations Tour – Jungfraujoch, Iseltwald, Lungern, Giessbach & Sigriswil

Your English-speaking driver will pick you up at your hotel in Interlaken and drive to Grindelwald Terminal, the base station for your ascent to Jungfraujoch. You’ll board the futuristic Eiger Express, gliding past alpine meadows and beneath the famous north face of the Eiger. After about 15 minutes, you’ll connect to the Jungfrau Railway, a marvel of Swiss engineering that climbs through the inside of the mountain, stopping at viewing windows overlooking the glacier.

At Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe, you’ll step out into another world — surrounded by eternal snow, bright sunlight, and silence. Here, on the Sphinx Observation Deck, the unforgettable reunion scene of Captain Ri and Se-ri was filmed. The Aletsch Glacier stretches endlessly below, creating the same sense of destiny and beauty that defined the finale. During your stay (around 2 hours at the top), you’ll have time to explore the Ice Palace, walk to the Glacier Plateau, and enjoy lunch or coffee at the panoramic restaurant before descending. After returning to Interlaken, the tour continues toward the CLOY filming locations scattered around Lake Brienz and Lake Thun. Your first stop is Iseltwald, a fairytale village made world-famous by the piano scene. Standing on the same wooden pier, you’ll recognize the turquoise reflections and calm atmosphere that made the scene so powerful.

Then continue to Lake Lungern, another real-life filming spot, whose postcard-perfect view was featured in Episode 2. From the elevated viewpoint, the lake appears still, almost mirror-like — a symbol of distance and longing.

Driving back along Lake Brienz, you’ll reach Grandhotel Giessbach and its majestic Giessbach Waterfalls. Although not a direct filming location, its romantic, Belle Époque character embodies the same feeling of timeless Swiss beauty that inspired the show’s producers. You can walk behind the waterfall or ride the vintage funicular for a short panoramic experience.

Finally, the day ends at Sigriswil Bridge, suspended 182 meters above the valley, overlooking Lake Thun. This is the exact bridge where Se-ri and Captain Ri reunite in the series’ final scene. Crossing it as the sun sets feels like stepping directly into the story’s closing moment.
