Lucerne to Interlaken, Grindelwald & Lauterbrunnen – Discover the Jungfrau Valley

Your private driver picks you up in Lucerne early in the morning for a full day of alpine exploration. The route follows the scenic A8 highway, passing Lake Lucerne and the turquoise waters of Lake Lungern. Crossing the Brünig Pass (1,008 m), you enter the Bernese Oberland, where the landscape opens into wide valleys and dramatic mountain views.

Your first destination is Grindelwald, a picturesque alpine village set beneath the iconic Eiger North Face. Towering nearly 1,800 meters above the valley, this legendary peak defines the entire region. You will have time to explore the village and enjoy its relaxed mountain atmosphere.

Visit to First – take the cable car for a panoramic ascent and experience the famous Cliff Walk by Tissot, offering breathtaking views over glaciers, peaks, and alpine meadows.

From Grindelwald, the journey continues through the Lütschine Valley toward Lauterbrunnen, one of the most spectacular valleys in Switzerland. Surrounded by 300-meter-high cliffs and dozens of waterfalls, the valley feels untouched and timeless. You’ll stop for a short walk and photos near the famous Staubbach Falls.

A short drive brings you to the Trümmelbach Falls, a unique natural attraction hidden inside the mountain. Accessible by lift and tunnels, these powerful waterfalls carry glacial meltwater from the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, creating a dramatic underground experience.

After exploring the valley, you continue to Interlaken, located between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. Here, you can enjoy a relaxed stop — walk along Höheweg, visit local shops, or simply take in the views toward the surrounding alpine peaks.

In the late afternoon, your driver will take you back to Lucerne via the same scenic route over Brünig Pass. Optional photo stops can be made along Lake Brienz or Lake Lungern, especially during sunset.

By evening, you return to Lucerne after a complete journey through the heart of the Swiss Alps — from iconic peaks and hidden waterfalls to peaceful lakes and alpine villages.
